Job Detail: Heart Centre Manager

The role holder will be responsible for:

•    Providing administrative, marketing and clinical direction for the staff of the Heart Center (Cardiology Clinic, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Non-invasive Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Inpatient Cardiology Nurse and Interventional Cardiology).
•    Ensuring that the provision of Cardiac Patients Care under this department is efficient, cost effective and consistent with the established protocols, evidence-based medicine, accreditation standards, and Hospital Policy and Procedure.  
•    The institution and maintenance of Quality Improvement Programs for all aspects of the Center to ensure a high quality of patient care. 
•    Actively participating in the direct provision of patient care as needed. 

Educational Requirements:

Nursing Diploma / Degree or similar Allied Health Programme
UK NMC / HPC Registration or equivalent
Post Graduate Degree in Business / Management / Advanced Clinical Speciality
Certification in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Cardiac Patients Care (outpatient and inpatient exposure).
Minimum of five years’ experience in a hospital leadership or managerial position.
Evidence of continuing professional development / education.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Marketing orientation, Health related business background, powerful presentation skills, and computer literacy is an asset.
